Gas Technologies Extends Early Adopter Program and Seeks $20 Million Financing for Seven Projects
PETOSKEY, MI - (May 31, 2012). Gas Technologies (GTL), manufacturer of the innovative GasTechno® gas to liquids process, has been reviewing Early Adopter Program (EAP) applications since it announced the program in February of this year. Due to the industry response since the program was announced, GTL has realigned its services offering to support an extended early adopter strategy until the seven companies are selected.
GTL's CEO Walter Breidenstein stated "We’ve learned a tremendous amount about what potential partners and customers need as Early Adopters of the technology. The most important thing we’ve found is that they like the structure of the program. They appreciate the opportunity to evaluate what the platform can do for their specific application using our phased study approach. Before investing the $2 million dollars required for a demonstration plant, our customers start with the $50,000 basic evaluation package (BEP) or the $250,000 basic engineering study--investments they have no problem making because it de-risks the project up front."
