Early Adopter Program
A structured technology evaluation process, with perks...
The GasTechno Early Adopter Program (EAP) is a structured technology evaluation process comprised of two distinct engineering studies and a small scale deployment option.
We developed the EAP to introduce the Mini-GTL™ methanol plant to a broad range of customers that have access to gas resources, whether in conventional oil and gas applications or as landfill or biogas.
To be considered for the GasTechno Early Adopter Program contact CEO Walter Breidenstein and request an EAP proposal package.

Basic Evaluation Package - $50,000
This study includes: (a) a gas quality evaluation, (b) complete process flow diagram, (c) material balances, (d) financial projections for scales of 1, 3, 5, 10 and 30 million standard cubic feet (mmscfd), (e) an onsite visit, and (f) 3D renderings of the GasTechno Mini-GTL™ alcohols plant.
Additionally, Gas Technologies will evaluate your local area for potential marketability and commercial sales, including the opportunity to consider an exclusive lock-out agreement for your territory covering the production of methanol, ethanol, formalin and potential downstream products such as biodiesel, gasoline, UFC-85 and formaldehyde derivative resins.
At the conclusion of the BEP the participant may elect to proceed to a Basic Engineering Study or forfeit their participation in the program.

Basic Engineering Study - $250,000
This study includes the design and engineering of a Mini-GTL™ plant to meet the needs of your application (gas specification, site location, feed pressure, etc.). The BES includes an evaluation of pre-treatment requirements (if any) such as sulfur removal using our proprietary design, compression requirements and O2 systems.
A complete documentation set will be provided including: (a) process flow diagrams (PFD), (b) piping and instrumentation drawings (P&ID), (c) fabrication diagrams, (d) equipment lists, (e) estimated project costs (+/- 10%), (f) production volumes, and (g) options for highest and best use of methanol, ethanol and formalin derivatives. The study includes detailed financial projections addressing CAPEX (ISBL & OSBL), OPEX and cost of production for scales ranging from 1, 3, 5, 10 and 30 million standard cubic feet of gas.
Completion of a Basic Engineering Study entitles the participant to the option of designing a central processing facility (CPF) at a new or existing biodiesel facility or methanol plant. A CPF reduces the cost associated with the distillation and production of biodiesel, fertilizers, olefins, gasoline, resins, etc. At the conclusion of the BES the participant may elect to proceed to a small scale deployment or forfeit their participation in the program.

Mini-GTL™ Methanol Plant - $2 million
Gas Technologies will utilize a design / build / own / operate & maintain ("DBOOM") business model for the first several sites. For those sites most attractive, we can source financing on a project-by-project basis as we expand commercial operations. This removes the risks to operators and provides them higher value for their gas supply.
Commercial opportunities will be evaluated based on $4.00/mmbtu sales prices and adjusted depending on quality of gas, location, market potential, etc. There is no up front cost to the operator and will be available in 2013-2014 as the commercialization program is developed with several key service companies and sub-contractors.
Consummation of a Mini-GTL deployment grants the participant preferential treatment for the awarding of exclusive regional and/or national subsidiaries for the licensed GasTechno process and platform.
